Time For You Focus Group

Several young people who are either users or ex users of our Time For You service or some who have completed work experience with us and others that have no previous knowledge of the service at all, were asked to form a Focus Group to assist us in making the service more client friendly and help us to promote and move the service forward. From this the Focus Group have assisted in the recruitment of our Time For You Project Manager - Lynne Hunt - as well as having an input on all aspects of the service.
In May 2007 the Focus Group was awarded the Bronze level in the Warwickshire Participation Awards, acknowledging our efforts and their participation. The focus Group have also written, produced and acted in a DVD titled "Life Is Not A Gameshow". This will go out to all schools shortly and is aimed at dispelling the myths around counselling.
